If you know us, you know we love going to Southold in the summer. One of the first places Valentina took Joey was Horton's Point Lighthouse where we watched the sunset with friends and family.

On a very rainy Saturday in June, we had plans to meet our friends at a restaurant in Greenport. Nothing out of the ordinary, Joey said we'll go for a drive first. When we pulled up at Horton's Point,  Valentina didn't think anything of it... to the point where she refused to get out the car. After some convincing, she reluctantly walked down the 67 steps to the rocky beach being dramatic with an umbrella. Just as luck would have it, Valentina made to the surface and the clouds opened up. Joey dropped to one knee and we didn't stop smiling since.  With the sound of the ocean behind us and the sand beneath our feet, Valentina said “yes” to forever. It was simple, beautiful, and perfectly us.
